Dermal Fillers
Volume naturally decreases with age, and lips, cheeks and the jawline are often the first places we notice it. Hyaluronic acid fillers may restore shape and softness, with a goal of balanced, natural-looking results. Outcomes vary.
Rebuild volume, refine shape
Dermal fillers are smooth gels based on hyaluronic acid, a substance your body already makes to hold water in the skin. Placed carefully beneath the surface, they add volume, define contours and soften deeper folds.
Lip filler can enhance shape and hydration without overdoing size. Cheek filler can add support to the mid-face and may soften the look of volume loss. Along the jawline and chin, filler can add definition and balance your profile.
We believe in starting small. Many patients prefer to build gradually over more than one visit, which keeps results natural and lets us respond to how your face settles.

What to expect
- 1Planning together. We discuss what you like and what you would change, and assess your facial balance.
- 2Comfortable placement. Numbing is applied and filler is placed with a fine needle or cannula in small, measured amounts.
- 3Settling in. Mild swelling is common. We review aftercare and schedule a check-in to adjust if needed.

Dermal filler questions
How long does filler last?
Longevity varies by product and area. Lips often need refreshing sooner than cheeks or jawline, and many patients return about once or twice a year.
Will my lips look overdone?
Not if we can help it. We start conservatively and add only as needed so results look balanced.
Is filler reversible?
Hyaluronic acid fillers can often be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase, but dissolving may not fully resolve every complication. Rare but serious risks, including vascular occlusion with tissue injury or vision loss, are reviewed at your consultation.
What side effects are common?
Swelling, tenderness and bruising are the most common and usually fade within days. Lumps, infection, allergic reactions and, rarely, blocked blood vessels causing tissue damage or blindness are possible, and we review them during your consultation.
