Microdermabrasion Facials
When skin looks dull, rough or congested, a gentle exfoliating facial can make a visible difference. Microdermabrasion polishes away the top layer of dead cells and leaves skin smoother and brighter.
A fresh surface, no recovery
Microdermabrasion uses a handheld device with a fine abrasive tip and light suction to remove dead skin cells from the surface. As that layer lifts away, the skin looks more even and reflects light better.
It is one of the gentlest in-office treatments we offer, which makes it a good starting point for patients new to aesthetics. Many people also choose it as a regular maintenance facial between stronger procedures.
Exfoliating also helps your skincare absorb more effectively. Many patients enjoy a monthly visit as part of a routine that keeps skin clear and glowing.

Skin care with a medical lens
Even gentle treatments benefit from a clinical eye. Our team, led by Dr. Viglione with Amy Schram, APRN and Brandy Nicholson, APRN, will recommend stronger options if your goals require them.
Microdermabrasion questions
How often should I have microdermabrasion?
Many patients benefit from a session about every month, though your skin type and goals may suggest a different schedule.
Is there any downtime?
No. Skin may look slightly pink or feel tight for a short time, and you can usually resume normal activities.
Can microdermabrasion treat acne scars?
It can soften surface roughness, but deeper scars usually respond better to treatments such as RF microneedling.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Often yes, with gentler settings. Tell us about rosacea, eczema or active breakouts so we can adjust or advise otherwise.
