Integrative & Functional Medicine in Gulf Breeze
Integrative medicine looks at the whole person alongside any single symptom. Our physician-led team in Gulf Breeze combines conventional training with advanced testing, nutrition and carefully chosen therapies for patients from Pensacola, Navarre and the surrounding Gulf Coast.
Root-cause care, built around you
Many people come to us after being told their labs are normal while they still feel tired, inflamed, foggy or simply not themselves. Integrative care takes that experience seriously. We spend time listening to your story, reviewing your history and looking for patterns that may add to the picture your other doctors already see.
From there, your plan may include deeper laboratory testing, nutrition and lifestyle changes, targeted supplements, and in-office options such as IV nutrient infusions, chelation or ozone therapy. Some of these are not FDA-approved for the uses people ask about, and we explain that before you decide. Each recommendation is chosen for your situation and reviewed over time.
Integrative care works alongside your other doctors, not in place of them. If you are managing a chronic condition or receiving specialist treatment, we coordinate with your care team and never ask you to stop prescribed medication. Integrative medicine questions
What is the difference between integrative and conventional medicine?
Conventional care often focuses on diagnosing and treating a specific condition. Integrative care adds a broader look at nutrition, lifestyle, hormones, gut health and environmental exposures, and uses both conventional and complementary tools when appropriate.
Will I need to stop seeing my other doctors?
No. We encourage you to keep your primary care provider and any specialists. With your permission we share findings and coordinate so your care stays consistent.
How do I know which service is right for me?
Most new patients begin with a consultation. We review your symptoms, history and goals, then recommend a starting point, which may be one service or a combination.
Is integrative care covered by insurance?
Coverage varies by plan and by service, and some therapies are not covered. Ask our team when you request a consultation and we will explain your options.
