Emsella Pelvic Floor Treatment
The Emsella chair uses focused electromagnetic energy while you sit fully clothed. It is a non-invasive option that may help women with bladder leakage; use in men is off-label.
Pelvic floor training without the effort
The pelvic floor is a group of muscles that supports the bladder and is involved in sexual function. Childbirth, aging, surgery, menopause and prostate treatment can weaken these muscles, and many people find that traditional exercises are hard to perform correctly or consistently.
During an Emsella session, you sit on a chair that delivers high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy, which causes many pelvic floor muscle contractions in a single session, more than most people could achieve voluntarily. Over a series of treatments, this may help improve pelvic floor muscle tone and bladder control.
There is no preparation, no undressing and no recovery period. Some patients consider it as an alternative to medication or surgery, and it may be used alongside other care.
